Animation with the X Library

Introduction

The X Library provides many functions and methods for animation. The xAnimation object is a recent addition to X which replaces all (and more) of the features provided by the stand-alone functions. The new stand-alone functions are also recent additions to X. The old stand-alone functions have been in X for a long time.
